Free ITIL 5 Foundation practice test
ITIL 4 Foundation or ITIL Foundation (Version 5)? From PeopleCert's pages, read October 2026: both exams are 40 multiple-choice questions, 60 minutes, closed book, 65% to pass, and the exam bundle is US$690 incl. VAT on both (ITIL 4 lists 12 exam languages, Version 5 lists 9). ITIL 4 teaches the service value chain; Version 5 teaches the eight-activity product and service lifecycle model, AI-native and complexity-native. PeopleCert's FAQ says the current plan is to sunset all ITIL 4 modules and the Foundation Bridge (Version 5) on 31 December 2027, voucher validity dates for ITIL 4 are still to be announced, and ITIL 4 certificates remain valid prerequisites for higher Version 5 certifications (ITIL v3 Foundation does not; ITIL 4 extension modules are not in the Version 5 scheme). The optional Bridge: 20 questions, 30 minutes, 65% to pass, bundle US$263 (e-learning US$476, e-learning+ US$620), open to any ITIL 4 certificate except Acquiring and Managing Cloud Services and Sustainability in Digital and IT.
