The Qiyas GAT (General Aptitude Test, Saudi Arabia) explained from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) pages, as of October 2026. A multiple-choice test with a verbal section (verbal analogies 17%, sentence completion 7%, contextual error 10%, reading comprehension 21%) and a quantitative section (for the science tracks: arithmetic 23%, geometry 10%, algebra 4%, data analysis 8%). Total test time is 2 hours 5 minutes, with timed sections, no calculators, and no going back to an earlier section on computer. ETEC's pages do not publish an exact question count, so we do not quote one. Who can register (Grade 11, Grade 12 or high school graduates), accepted ID, fees listed by ETEC (paper SAR 100 early / SAR 150 late, computer SAR 150, outside the Kingdom SAR 200), 5 attempts, results valid for 5 years, results in 3 to 5 business days (computer) or about a month (paper). There is no pass or fail: scores show your position among test takers (81+ top 5%, 78+ top 10%, 73+ top 20%, 70+ top 30%, about 65 average) and each university sets its own weight. The real verbal section is in Arabic, so the verbal practice questions here are English look-alikes of the same question types. Then 10 original practice questions with answers: analogy, sentence completion, contextual error, reading, percent, time and motion, geometry, algebra, data analysis and probability. Study tips are our own suggestions. Independent guide, not affiliated with ETEC or Qiyas.
